Advertising & Disclosure

Updated 21 Aug 2025

Bottom line: We put readers first. Articles are written to be useful and purpose‑led. If we ever accept sponsorships, we’ll disclose clearly and preserve editorial independence.

How we fund the site

  • Self-funded. At launch, DomainMasters.net is funded by our team’s time. We do not run display ads.
  • Newsletter sponsorships (optional). We may accept clearly-labelled newsletter sponsors in the future. Sponsors cannot influence editorial content.
  • No affiliate links (currently). We don’t use affiliate links. If this changes, we’ll mark affiliate links and update this page.

Editorial independence

  • Sponsorships do not buy positive coverage or link placement in articles.
  • We decide what to publish based on reader value and expertise, not revenue.
  • Where we recommend providers or tools, it’s due to merit, testing experience, and suitability for AU businesses.

Sponsored content

If we publish sponsored content in the future, it will be:

  • Clearly labelled as “Sponsored”.
  • Reviewed to meet our Editorial Guidelines and usefulness standards.
  • Published only if it genuinely helps readers make better decisions.

Outbound links and citations

We link to authoritative sources (e.g., ICANN, Google Search Central, Moz, Ahrefs) for verification and further reading. These links are editorial, not paid.

Changes

We’ll update this policy if our monetisation model changes. The “Updated” date will reflect any changes.
